The long journey home to Oregon, August 2021

The EATA herd makes its winter pasture in Bend, Oregon, with Program Director Janie Call. It’s a long drive down the AlCan Highway – and Janie will repeat the journey in May when it’s time to return to Alaska and our therapy riders.

First Day: Tok, Alaska August 16.

Too soon, the 2021 summer season comes to an end!

EATA recognizes our volunteers and thanks the riders, families, staff and therapists with a potluck BBQ.

The next day, its time to load the horses and head for the border.
