The Anchorage Park Foundation, Parks For All, EATA, and Inclusive Play Committee organizations have worked together to bring Inclusive Play to Anchorage Area parks . Thanks to their efforts, more than a dozen area playgrounds now have equipment that is accessible to all children.More projects are planned for 2019. Christina “Christy” Constantini, was born and raised in Bucks County, PA and moved to Anchorage 10 years ago to pursue a change in lifestyle. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis(MS) almost 20 years ago, she found that a cooler climate helped her thrive. Christy rode horses as a child/teenager and loved every aspect of it. After reading several articles about hippotherapy in an MS magazine, she thought she should give it a try, and she has been riding with EATA ever since!
