The members of the Thirty-first Alaska State Legislature have awarded a citation honoring EATA for their dedication and commitment to “providing a unique and valuable option to individuals with intellectual, physical or social-emotional disabilities living in the Anchorage area”. The bill was sponsored by Senator Josh Revak, co-sponsored by Rep. Laddie Shaw and Rep. Mel Gillis, and unanimously approved by the members of the Legislature.
A ceremony was held at the EATA Mabrey Equidome on Monday, October 5, 2020, to receive the award and show our appreciation to the legislators who led in the effort to recognize the work of EATA’s Board of Directors, volunteers, and staff.
