Thanks for a Great Summer Season!
The EATA board of directors extends a whole-hearted thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the past eight weeks a huge success.
To our business partners at All For Kids Pediatrics, Alaska Pediatric Therapy, and Alaska OT Services…You made this the most productive year ever for our growing program! Thank you for your time and your partnership for success!
To Janie Call and Christina Dessert…Another great year! Thanks for your guidance, mentorship, and tight organizational control over the program to keep it on time and on track. Janie, can’t wait to have you back next summer! Christina, all the best for a successful career as you move on to bigger challenges and bigger dreams.
To our volunteers…Holy Cow! A total of 4,100 volunteer hours were put in by 79 of the hardest working, most dedicated teens and young adults you could ever have the pleasure to work with. Without you, there is no program. And we’d be remiss if we didn’t also thank the parents who loaned us these great kids for the summer. We appreciate your support very, very much.
To the Chamberlain Equestrian Center and the Anchorage Horse Council…no organization could ever ask for better neighbors, colleagues, and friends. Thank you for your continued support.
And last but not least, to Mother Nature…we could not have had better weather than we had this Summer. Who would have thought that here in Alaska we’d ever have to worry about it getting too hot?!? Really, though, the bulk of the rain held off until the bitter end, and we very much appreciated that!
In closing, another great productive and successful season due to the sacrifices and unselfishness of a lot of very dedicated people. We can’t say thank you enough, and we hope with all our hearts to see you all back again next summer! Keep watching this page to stay on top of the latest breaking news about EATA.
