Weidner Alaska selected EATA for their annual Weidner Cares Day! Weidner expects over 150 team-members to volunteer 8 hours of their time on trails, grounds, and stall maintenance, repairs, and site improvements. Fire hazards will be removed, mulched, and repurposed along the walking and common areas around the center. Weidner will power-wash, level, and paint stall doors – weather permitting, of course. That’s not all! Weidner is planning to fix the bathing station, shed, and entrance arches; as well as, painting the parking lot and bollards, insulating the office, and professionally grooming the grounds.
We can’t tell you how excited and grateful we are for their industriousness and gift to the equestrian and EATA community. Their hard-work and in-kind donations of materials and equipment will benefit the many groups and equestrian users at the WCCEC, the public at-large, and the 300+ volunteers, participants, staff, family members, and many more supporters of EATA!
